Auto Drain Valve

Auto drain valves remove mixtures of water and compressor lubricants from compressed air systems. An automatic drain valve eliminates the need for a maintenance worker to patrol the plant, manually dumping liquid from the air system.

A drain valve performs the critical function of allowing excess water vapor to escape into the atmosphere. By eliminating water from the compressed air system, the drain valve also reduces wear on tools and equipment powered by the compressor unit.

Timer-operated drains are reliable, cost-effective devices that open the drain’s valve periodically and for an adjustable period. The valve may be open for a few seconds once an hour to remove the collected condensate.
